Ponmudi - Distance from 1997 to 2017


On a summer of 1997, we had a surprise trip to Ponmudi. P. Chandrakumar (Film Director), Mukundan(Actor), Anil Mohan(Actor), Kannan (AG’s Office Employee), Dileep(Brother of Anil Mohan) and me were the members of the trip. We had a bike and a car for the unplanned trip. The famous Poorna Hotel Room no.33 at Statue Junction behind Secretariat is the witnesses of all these planning's and the freak outs during that period.

The hot and humid city weather until Nedumangad and Vithura was suddenly transformed to cold breeze hitting our face straight. I traveled sitting behind Anil Mohan's bike. 

After travelling 22 hairpins we reached the hill top.





After long 20 years, Chandrettan and me visited Ponmudi again with Murali and Anil Babu. 

 Twenty Years had made colossal changes to the geographical ambiance of Ponmudi and to our face and flesh. But the warmth of our relation endured all these years, rather it became stronger and stronger.
